Shared Yemeni mandi platter with half chicken over saffron rice

Half Chicken Mandi

A family cooking spiced rice and flatbread together in a warm kitchen

(a) Our story

From a family table in Yemen to Fort Smith.

Mandi House began at a family table, where a whole chicken was slow-cooked in a clay pot and shared by everyone who sat down. We brought that same recipe — and the same habit of feeding people — to the corner of S Zero Street.

Every platter is still made the way it was at home: hand-ground spice, rice cooked in the broth, and a family that answers the phone and replies to every review.
